Golden Turmeric Latte with Maitake
Immunity & Gut Health
KEY INGREDIENTS

Turmeric
The active compound in turmeric is known as curcumin, which research has shown may lower inflammation and ease oxidative stress. When paired with the active pipierine in black pepper, the two create a powerful anti-inflammatory team, making your latte pure gold.

Maitake
AKA The Dancing Mushroom, Maitake has been shown to help stabilize blood sugar and improve digestion. Paired with anti-inflammatory turmeric, which may lower inflammation and ease oxidative stress, it’s the ultimate tummy tamer.

Oat Milk
Fun fact: oat milk contains more calcium than cow's milk--as if you needed another reason to moooove away from dairy. More environmentally-friendly than nut milks and packed with beta-glucans just like our fungi friends, oat milk is a delicious and healthier way to latte.

Coconut Palm Sugar
Manners should be refined, sugar should not! Made from the sap of the flowering coconut palm, we'll take this minimally processed, highly nutrient dense sweetener over the white stuff any day. Coconut palm sugar is low on the Glycemic Index and even boasts the gut-friendly prebiotic known as inulin. Sweet.

Sea Salt
Not to be confused with regular table salt, Himalayan Salt is a true power player, regulating water content throughout the body, and supporting respiratory and bone health.

Cinnamon
Cinnamon is one of the healthiest spices on the planet. It can lower blood sugar levels, reduce heart disease risk factors and has a plethora of other impressive health benefits. And just a pinch will give your latte's flavor a little something extra.

Ginger
Long used in Asia as a natural remedy for a range of health conditions, we like ginger for its ability to soothe troubled tummyy, aid digestion and keep nausea at bay.

Black Pepper
Shown to demonstate some antioxidant and antibacterial effects, black pepper stimulates the taste buds to set off a chain reaction of digestive benefits. When paired with turmeric, the piperine in pepper actually helps absorb the curcumin in turmeric, creating a powerful (and delicious!) anti-inflammatory compound.
